Rakasa Revue Labor Day Weekend Showcase

Shake off the work week and shimmy into the holiday weekend with belly dance at Rakasa Revue! This month's showcase features tribal-fusion dancer Liora, male belly dancer Drakon, Baharat member Alejandra, as well as Jennifer (formerly known as Alyce!), Valerie & Leeza and Kahramana of Bahaia's Kan Zaman Dancers. Come for the beauty and mystery of belly dance and stay for the fun open dance at the end of the show.

We're proud to announce that Rakasa Revue's new home is the lovely Gemini Playhouse, Austin's newest black-box theater. The Playhouse has ample parking and refreshments will be available.

Adult general admission is $10 in advance or at the door. Austin Belly Dance Association members receive a 20% discount. Children age 12 and younger are admitted free.

Rakasa Revue is produced by local performer Kahramana as a showcase where professional performers, experienced recreational dancers and serious students come together to share their love of the dance with each other and with you.
