Rakasa Revue: An Evening with Bahaia & the Kan Zaman Dancers

Rakasa Revue is delighted to present an evening of belly dance by Bahaia and her Kan Zaman Dancers troupe! Renowned Austin performer Bahaia brings her artistry and love of Middle Eastern music and movement to the stage, while her troupe presents pieces from the Kan Zaman repertoire, including Bahaia's newest choreography, a spectacular sword piece.

Sonya, of both Raks Helwa Bellydance Ensemble and the Typsy Gypsys, will start the evening as our special guest.

Come see some of the best the Austin belly dance community has to offer, then stay for the open dance when everyone can shake a hip! All ages are welcome.

Adult general admission: $10 in advance, $12 cash at the door. Children age 12 and younger get in for free.

Rakasa Revue is a monthly showcase produced by Austin dancer Kahramana at the Gemini Playhouse. Rakasa Revue brings together professional performers, dedicated recreational dancers and serious students to share their love of Middle Eastern dance.
